Meet Amandine - Our Service Hero!

GetYourGuide cares about customer experience, which means our Guest Relations Team in Rome does as well! Our Guest Relations Team is working with customers on a daily basis offering help and assistance as they visit museums and top attractions in-destination, such as the Colosseum and Vatican Museums. For us, this means being on hand at our Meeting Points, handling booking issues, long lines, and providing a wonderful experience for our guests!

Providing a master class and hassle-free experience in the destination at all times sounds like a lot of fun and a lot of work. So, in order to ensure we provide this experience, the team in Rome is challenged each quarter to reach exceptional Guest Service scores.

Who is the judge of this challenge? Our customers of course! The opinion of our guests is very important to us, so at the end of their experience we track the reviews on our website. Sometimes something special happens: they give us a 5-star review and personally mention one of our Guest Relations Coordinators. In order to reward these exceptional service providers, we initiated a service recognition initiative: the Service Hero Challenge.

During the length of the quarter all customer reviews are collected and analyzed. Then, the reviews with specific mentions of our team members are selected. The Guest Relations Coordinator who gets mentioned the most is celebrated with a special cup by the team! This quarter we celebrated Amandine Della Vecchia. With a great passion for the tourism and service industry and some previous experiences in direct contact with customers in hotels in France and in Italy, Amandine moved from Ouillins to Rome last June to join the GetYourGuide Guest Relations Team!

She showed a great enthusiasm for our experiences and customers from day one. She said she particularly enjoyed escorting GetYourGuide Guests inside the Gladiator Arena at the Colosseum! Reading our customers reviews, Amandine was mentioned seven times during the quarter.  This makes her the most popular Coordinator for the quarter.

With her constant smile and positive attitude she contributed to creating special memories for all of our customers, and we thank her for her great service!
